Legacy, Superseded and End-of-Life Archive
The legacy archive preserves old article IDs, redirects, terminology, version history and replacement relationships. It is searchable for historical troubleshooting but is not the default source for a current procedure.

Required tombstone metadata
Every archived source keeps its old URL/article ID, last known product/version, lifecycle state, replacement product/article where known, reason archived, last validation date and any current KB-ID that supersedes it.
Safety rule
A legacy article may contain ports, paths, screenshots, commands, compatibility statements or product names that are no longer correct. Never use it operationally without confirming the current documentation and lifecycle status.
Old kb.acronis.com/content/{id} URLs remain aliases when they redirect to the current Acronis Support Portal.
